Are you a dog lover, who finds yourself super-anxious when your dog, or someone else’s dog, is barky and reactive? Knowing that they’re stressed or anxious but not knowing what you can do to help them?
I was recently lucky enough to work with a doggo like this, who lives in Zimbabwe and finds loud noises very upsetting.
About Thandie, from her ‘Mum’
“So Thandie was pretty brave as a youngster and then we moved to an area where there is a high concentration of granite and the thunderstorms can be intense. It’s sometimes like the thunder/lightening strike is inside the house. We lived on the edge of a golf course and one day when we were out lightening struck a tree on the edge of the property. I’d say that’s when her fear of thunder began. Later there was an incident when my husband came home from a motorbike ride with a couple of friends who stayed for a while. Then when they left they fired up their bikes together and roared out the gate and that’s when Thandie’s fear of motorcycles begun. Even though my husband has always had a bike since Thandie was a pup. So basically she has a massive fear of loud noises.
With the storms she can sense them coming and I know when she’s afraid because she makes her ears flat and her expression is of fear. She normally lays very close with her elbows out and her head sort of down between her shoulders. She also pants. If there is thunder or a loud noise her whole body shivers.
I have tried everything some things help a little for a while but really she just remains distressed till she is exhausted and falls asleep. She’s a clever and sensitive dog which doesn’t help.
So last Sunday we moved back to the house we lived in when Thandie was a puppy. I thought she’d be good with this. Our cats settled down immediately. Trouble is it’s close to a main road so there’s lots of traffic noise. Here in Zimbabwe lots of people have cars that sound like motor bikes so she’s had quite a lot of distress this week. I’m not sure how she’s going to cope and we will be living here for a while. So I would be grateful if you could help her. She’s normally a happy fun loving person and I hate that she experiences such distress.

It’s quite wretched. Cos now when we go in the garden if she hears something that she thinks is scary she runs for inside and normally she loves being outside.
Thandie also has a niggly cough I thought might be nerve related but I’m not sure. I have had her at the vet and treated her for esophageal worms and she had a course of antibiotics. He said if it persists I should bring her back for scans etc. Which I’ve been loathe to do because it’s such an invasion. So I thought I’d just ask you to also keep it in mind 🙏🏻”
Healing report #1 of 2

‘Mum’ remembered some of the stuff that came up in the report – and some she didn’t. It really doesn’t matter and in fact I ask people not ‘to dig in the trash’ and angst over the report because it’s almost irrelevant – what we want to focus on, are the changes
Here are some of the text messages she sent:

About it being ‘completely unbelievable’ – I get that. I understand. It took me ages to believe that energy healing is a ‘thing’ and that it works.
Thandie’s Higher Self told us she needed another session in nine days’ time, so very sensibly, Mum booked another. Mum sent me the feedback above (nine days after session #1) on the morning of the evening that we had booked the session, and Thandie’s ‘next layer’ was pushing up and asking for release.
Very often we have a fabulous initial response, which begins to ‘wear off’ as the processing and integrating period comes to an end. This is because you laid the issue down over some time, and so we must access the levels (like rock strata) and deal with them as they come to the surface.
The second session was the final session. You might notice that her ‘severity ratings’ have come down a lot, in the first session, also by the end of the second session.

Feedback on Thandie’s progress

I was really happy to hear all this wonderful news about this lovely dog. I was thrilled that her cough responded positively, as well as the gorgeous response she had to healing her fear.
Thandie is a sensitive soul, and her fear and reactive habits were deep-buried, which is why it took more than one session to help her. One might say this is true for all sensitive souls. I loved that Thandie’s Mum took this on board, and took a second session for Thandie, in the time-frame recommended. My general observation after doing this work for several years is that animals are less complex than humans and don’t have as many barriers and resistances to healing, or secondary gains causing them to hold onto their issues; as humans might.
I’d love to help your beloved Animal Friend if they have issues they just can’t cope with. I’ll be running my annual free animal Healing Circle in October of the current year. Registrations are open now on my website. If you have a fearful, reactive animal, I would be so honoured to help them with this service.
Love and light, all good things!
