On Friday night, October 25, I ran a healing circle exclusively for animals. The original intention was to run it for animals who are traumatised by fireworks, but in the end I had a few of additions – animals who are reactive, maybe a bit aggressive, one dog with cancer. People responded to my FB advertising of this event, and if I got the details in time, I included their animals. Cats, dogs, horses – this is what I got, and as they are all God’s creatures I believe they are all worthy and deserving of help. Especially since they occupy such large spaces in our lives and hearts, and especially as very often, we humans are the reason that they have trauma and issues!
So – what did I do?
I established first, with my Spirit Team, that I could use the Body Code to heal this circle. I was overjoyed. Previously I’ve always used the Emotion Code to heal groups. I think now my capacity and understanding has grown deeper, so I have more ‘stretch’. I don’t know. I was really thrilled, because in my opinion, the Body Code has more punch than the Emotion Code, so I was chuffed to be able to offer it to these deserving animals.
After asking for help, and reviewing the photo, name and ‘issues’ of each animal, I pulled them together energetically into my Circle and connected with them.
How can I heal ‘a group’?
To be honest, I don't know. I think that the group decides what is in the best interests, what is the most urgent release, for the group members - my healing circle. I do know I get directed in the same way as I do when working with individuals. So, given what we uncovered and released; ('we' because I am only the facilitator of this healing), did each animal have, say, a Post Traumatic Energy? Yes and no. Each animal did have a collection of energy, massed into different shapes and colours. Each animal identified that they needed to release 'this' energy. I, as the human interface between them and their Ultimate Healer, simply gave it a label, and released it. Think of it as me releasing a symbol of your animal’s pain or distress.
This is what I found:
What is a Post Traumatic Energy?
It can be a few things, but this one was a trapped energy as a result of a physical blow or injury; or more likely, an emotional blow. You know when we say, “I felt it like a blow to the heart” - ? When something hurts us badly, we trap the energy of that hurt and I think this is what happened here. The energies underpinning and supporting this were a Psychic Trauma and various Trapped Emotions and Heart Walls. A Psychic Trauma happens when we experience trauma, big trauma, and trap, as a ‘unit’, two or more emotions experienced at the time of the trauma.
Misaligned brain stem ...
The next issue asking to be released was a misaligned brain stem, causing misalignment of the central nervous system. This is the body’s communication system, where the brain ‘talks’ to the organs via the spinal cord. Again, this misalignment was caused by trapped energies ‘pushing’ it out of the correct ‘space’, if you like.
Sympathetic nervous system
Finally, the sympathetic nervous system – one of three parts making up the autonomic system, part of the peripheral nervous system – was out of balance. The sympathetic nervous system deals with fight and flight reaction, panic, fear, high levels of activity. More trapped energies here, causing unhappiness in the system.
The last thing I did was to place a shield of love and light around each animal, with the intention of allowing positive energies freely in and out, but blocking negative and offensive energies.
Will this healing make a difference?
I don’t know. I do believe healing took place, because of what I felt and experienced during the session. I know from experience that as a healer I have to hold a space of trust and faith, and to try to be detached from the outcome because only God can determine what healing takes place, and how deep the healing goes.
What I’ve done is asked all the animal-owners to benchmark – to rate their pet’s behaviour on a scale of 10, right now, before any new triggering experience takes place. I’ve done this because – lol – from experience, I know that ‘you’ forget how you felt before your healing, and how quickly you pass from feeling unhappy or stressed (or whatever) to feeling happy and full of joie de vivre! So - the benchmarking activity will serve to remind the pet-owners how their animal reacted before our healing session, and then be able to compare to another benchmark taken at the time of the next triggering experience. I believe they will see a difference, and of course I’m excited to hear about it!
I’ve sent my benchmarks to each pet owner. I definitely saw a super shift downwards in severity ratings across all the animals, and am hoping that this is echoed by their owners when I get feedback.
